Yes, you're right - there is a lot of fabric in this gown. I do not remember how much exactly - but I suppose it's about 8-10 metres!

I am in awe of this dress!!! What kind of fabric did you use for this gown? From the pictures it seems like taffeta, but I can't be sure. I want this dress now!!! :D

You did an amazing job on this gown. Did you draft your own patterns and drape the bustle?

Thanks! I used some patterns from Truly Victorian as a basis to draft the patterns. So it's more or less a mixture of my own design (inspired by the original gown in 'Dracula', of course) and the TV patterns.
